Arbonne Bankruptcy – Arbonne Consultants Next Steps

Arbonne International, LLC a MLM company known for its skin care products that is based out of Irvine California has been the topic of discussion as of late. Due to Natural Products Group, llc the holding company for Arbonne filed chapter 11 bankruptcy in the effort to remove the companies current debt.
The current rumors are claiming Arbonne will be shut down, this isn’t true since this is a chapter 11 filing to restructure the company. Natural Products Group, llc announced that the chapter 11 bankruptcy filing was successful with the plan accepted on Jan 27, 2010. With the company stating that more than 80% of the outstanding debt is expected to be reduced during the Arbonne reorganization, and turned into equity for the company. Basically the lenders are swapping the debt owed to gain shares of ownership in the company.
With the Arbonne Restructuring underway what happens with the current Independent Consultants?
Well, looks like business as usual which is a good thing right after such a large scare as bankruptcy on your business. But in no way will this Arbonne Bankruptcy be out of the news anytime soon. As we know the MLM industry is constantly scrutinized as to how “legit” and “secure” any of the businesses are since many MLM companies have opened and closed their doors over the years, leaving empty pockets and broken dreams.
As for any Independent Consultant or anyone who has been looking at getting involved in the Arbonne opportunity may want to think twice about how business may change. I’m not saying to not be part of Arbonne but to be aware that MLM can be hard enough without having a business with a bankruptcy on its books. Having the black eye of a bankruptcy you need to prepare yourself to educate the people you talk to about Arbonne and the reorganization plan it implemented. The road ahead may not be bright right away for Arbonne in a recruiting standpoint, but like any business “it’s a numbers game”
If you really want to prosper in Arbonne, you’re going to need to learn how to market “yourself” before your business. This is for anyone in Arbonne or potentially signing up, you have to know how to market your company in a way that takes away the resistance a prospect could have.
